
The Management Board of AS Ekspress Grupp, a leading media group in Baltics, proposes to its shareholders to pay dividends of 6 euro cents per share for the financial year 2024, totaling EUR 1.86 million.
The Management Board’s dividend proposal will be put to a vote at the Annual General Meeting of shareholders. The General Meeting will also confirm the ex-date (the date of change in the rights related to securities) and the dividend payment date.
According to Lili Kirikal, Member of the Management Board and CFO of Ekspress Grupp, the Management Board’s dividend proposal is based on the current dividend policy, which stipulates that the company pays out at least 30% of the previous year’s profit as dividends. “The company’s strong financial position allows us to maintain the dividend payment at the same level as last year and pay a total of EUR 1.86 million in dividends for the financial year 2024, which represents 57% of the net profit,” Kirikal explained.
The Supervisory Board of AS Ekspress Grupp has simultaneously approved the consolidated audited report for the financial year 2024, according to which Ekspress Grupp’s revenue was EUR 76.2 million, representing a 4% increase compared to 2023. The Group’s consolidated audited net profit for the 2024 financial year was EUR 3.3 million. Digital revenues increased by 9% year-on-year, and digital revenues accounted for 86% of the Group’s total turnover.
AS Ekspress Grupp is the leading media group in the Baltics, whose activities include web media content production and publishing of newspapers, magazines, and books. The Group also operates an electronic ticket sales platform and ticket offices and provides outdoor screen services in Estonia and Latvia. Ekspress Grupp started its operations in 1989 and employs approximately 1,100 people.
